Round-the-clock guards and weight-sensitive flooring are among the features of this high-
security unit, protecting your IT systems from theft or sabotage at all times. Entry is via a PIN-card
operated electronic security door system giving access only to those floors and machine rooms
which the user is authorised to enter.
Other features include a perimeter alarm, movement detectors and a CCTV system which is
permanently monitored by security staff. The air conditioning system maintains a constant
temperature of 22°C (+/- 2°C) in all machine rooms.
Fire protection includes an addressable fire alarm conforming to the BS5339 standard as well as
environmentally friendly detection and gas-fired suppression systems enabling fires to be dealt
with before they take hold.
State-of-the art protection against lightning and water leakage is included as part of the
Building Management System.
